It’s been a good 3 weeks. I put in a lot of work during this period. My training was consistent and nicely balanced. I am feeling ready and at peak. One more long run to do this weekend and then the tapering will start. In the last couple of weeks I will focus on speed and keep the sessions frequent and short.
Only thing I struggle with is weight. After the 3 weeks I expected a reduction, 1 or 2 kilos. But no. I went from 68kg to 71kg. Part is muscle build and part is enjoying food too much. Not a train smash but it would be good to race at 66-67kg.
