I found a great way to train and have a social life, especially for the biking. My last two long bike rides where always combined with a visit halfway.
The 1st was a ride to my parents. The live 72km from me. So in total it was 140k for the day, including lunch and a nap.
Today I went to harties which is 64k from me to visit a friend and see their vulture project. So a nice 120k trip including sushi stop. Then followed by a 5k run off the bike.
I think it’s great training in the start. I however need to get a continuous session in too one of these days.
